I cannot will not fit into the bubble you cast me in
I'm learning everyday who I am
That girl who hates authority
has become the woman who will stand up
walk out of job
but makes sure she gets her time sheet signed
It's not that I did not want to file
but your degrading tone of do it now
led my inner voice to shout HELL NO!
you couldn't hear
but my actions spoke louder
and when you told me to go
I smirked, because I had already left
I don't fit into your bubble
I cannot will not sit at the same seat for 20 years
I have experiences to partake in
Lovers to meet
friends to reconnect with
So while you sit there in your bubble
telling me that I am a fool for leaving
I'll enjoy life outside the bubble
